Why licensed-only matters after surgery.

Post-operative massage is not a spa service. Working on a patient who is days out of BBL, lipo 360, or a mommy makeover requires an understanding of fresh incisions, drain sites, tissue fragility, and the signs of something going wrong.

In Florida, that level of work legally requires a licensed massage therapist (LMT). We refuse to book unlicensed practitioners, period. It is the single most important decision you can make for your recovery — and the one we will never compromise on.

Every therapist on the Bodied in MIA roster holds an active FL LMT license, carries professional liability insurance, and has logged hundreds of post-surgical sessions under senior supervision before working with patients solo.
