Welcome to Bodied in MIA. These terms are written to protect your experience and ours, so every stay and every session unfolds exactly as it should. Please take a moment to read them before you book.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking a recovery suite, scheduling a mobile lymphatic drainage session, purchasing a product, or otherwise engaging with any service offered by Bodied in MIA (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (the “Client” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, please do not use our services. Booking confirmation — whether made by you or by a third party on your behalf — constitutes acceptance of this agreement in full.
Services Provided
Bodied in MIA offers boutique post-operative hospitality and recovery support in the Greater Miami area. Our core offerings include:
- Recovery Suites — private overnight accommodations staffed with 24/7 care, meals, transportation, and post-surgical monitoring.
- Mobile Lymphatic Drainage — licensed massage therapy delivered to hotels, Airbnbs, private residences, and recovery suites.
- Add-On Services — airport transport, medication reminders, meal preparation, wound-care assistance (non-clinical), compression garment support, and curated retail products.
Specific inclusions vary by package. Your confirmation email and digital intake will outline exactly what is reserved for your stay.
Eligibility & Medical Clearance
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to book services with Bodied in MIA. For any post-operative engagement, written clearance from your surgeon is required before your first massage or recovery suite check-in.
You are responsible for disclosing — accurately and completely — any medical conditions, allergies, medications, prior surgeries, or contraindications that may affect your care. This includes but is not limited to:
- History of blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, or cardiovascular conditions.
- Infections, open wounds, or complications post-surgery.
- Pregnancy, recent chemotherapy, or immunocompromised status.
- Any condition your surgeon or physician has flagged as a massage or travel contraindication.
Bodied in MIA reserves the right to decline, modify, or postpone service if, in our professional judgment, care cannot be safely provided. Withholding relevant medical information may result in service refusal without refund.
Booking, Deposits & Payment
All reservations require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your dates. The deposit amount varies by package and will be disclosed before payment is collected. The remaining balance is due no later than forty-eight (48) hours prior to check-in or your first scheduled mobile session.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).
- Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo.
- Cash, with prior arrangement.
Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and do not include gratuity, optional add-ons requested on-site, or applicable taxes. Any additional services arranged during your stay will be invoiced at checkout.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Because our suites and therapist schedules are reserved exclusively for you, the following policy applies:
- 48 hours or more before service — full deposit refund, or the option to reschedule at no charge within ninety (90) days.
- 24 to 48 hours before service — deposit is retained but may be applied toward a future booking within sixty (60) days, space permitting.
- Less than 24 hours or same-day cancellation — deposit and any pre-paid balance are forfeited in full.
Medical emergencies with verifiable documentation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Reschedules must be confirmed in writing by email or text to our booking team.
Late Arrival & No-Show
Mobile sessions begin at the time you are scheduled, not when the therapist arrives. If you are delayed, we will deliver the remaining time within the originally reserved window whenever possible, but we cannot extend appointments into another client’s booking.
Clients who arrive more than thirty (30) minutes late to a suite check-in without communication may be considered a no-show. No-shows forfeit the full session or night fee and are not eligible for rescheduling under the standard policy.
Client Conduct & Property
Our suites are furnished with care, and our therapists serve in your private space. We ask that you:
- Treat our staff, property, and furnishings with respect.
- Refrain from smoking, vaping, or illegal substance use on the premises.
- Abstain from alcohol during recovery; sessions will not proceed if a client appears intoxicated, and the deposit is forfeited in such cases.
- Inform us in advance of any additional guests, caregivers, or overnight visitors. Unauthorized guests may result in additional fees or termination of stay.
- Keep pets off the premises unless a documented service animal is pre-approved.
Damage to suites or linens beyond normal wear will be billed to the payment method on file at replacement cost. We reserve the right to end a stay or session immediately if staff safety, comfort, or dignity is compromised; no refund will be issued in those circumstances.
Liability & Assumption of Risk
Lymphatic drainage massage, post-operative hospitality, and our ancillary wellness services are not medical care. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and they do not replace the care of a licensed physician, surgeon, or emergency provider.
You acknowledge that massage, movement, and post-surgical recovery carry inherent risks, including but not limited to temporary discomfort, bruising, fluid shifts, or unexpected complications from your underlying surgery. By booking, you voluntarily assume these risks and agree to release Bodied in MIA, its staff, contractors, and agents from liability to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law.
We carry professional liability and general business insurance, and every licensed therapist on our roster carries individual coverage. In the event of a genuine medical emergency, call 911 immediately; our staff are trained to support, not substitute, emergency response.
Confidentiality & Photography
Your privacy is paramount. We do not disclose your name, procedure, surgeon, or stay details to any third party without your written permission, except where required by law or emergency medical response.
Photography and video are not permitted in suites, during sessions, or of our staff without prior written consent. Bodied in MIA may occasionally request a signed photo release for before-and-after imagery, testimonials, or marketing; participation is entirely optional and can be withdrawn at any time before publication.

Modifications to Terms
